As lifelong fans of all things Soul and Funk they had the idea of starting a musical project that would offer the North West of England an authentic sounding alternative to 'Blues Brothers' or 'Commitments' type bands. At times this has been difficult journey but ultimately a journey that has lead to what is now a Soul and Funk band to be reckoned with. Featuring top class vocalists, guitar and a tour de force rhythm section - Gudfut is proud to offer a band not just with real Soul but the Funk to back it up.
